U12 Jamieson had a great weekend at the Pierrefonds-DDO Ringette Tournament. As with most out the town tournaments, the girls had a ton of fun with lots of team bonding. In the end they were able to beat out the Quebec teams and bring the Gold Medal home to Ontario.

U10-Dearing
It was an Amazing weekend for our U10 Dearing team that participated in the BKRA tournament. The girls were fired up and played their hearts out every shift. They finished first in their pool of 5 teams with a 3-0 record and advanced to the finals. They had to face the winner of the other pool, the hometown BKRA Red team. At half time, it was tied 1-1, however GCRA dug down deep and prevailed with a 5-1 victory and brought home the GOLD! The Devils amazing goaltending, defense and back checking led to an impressive 7 goals against for the entire tournament, and their aggressive nature led them to a 20 goals for. Tournaments bring the best out of U10 Dearing girls as this their second Gold medal this season. Way to go Devils!

Congratulations to all the teams! Win or lose, we're sure they had fun and did a great job representing the GCRA.
