GCRA Players Choice Initiative - What is it?

• New players who reside in the GCRA Players Choice Zone may register with another ringette association
• The Players Choice Zone will be in effect for the next two ringette seasons (2017-18 and 2018-19)
• Players who choose to excercise this option MUST obtain a GCRA Players Choice Release from GCRA

Eligibility:

• Any new player to the sport of ringette; or
• Any ringette player that moved to the GCRA Players’ Choice Zone (represented in Figure 2 below) after the end of the 2016-17 ringette season; or
• Any player that was registered in Bunnies/Learn To Skate that lives in the GCRA Players Choice Zone in the 2016-17 ringette season

GCRA Players Choice Zone - Boundary Description:

• Mitch Owens on southern border
• Rideau River on western border
• Hunt Club on north-west CORA border
  • Part of Hunt Club - Airport included
• Albion road on eastern border
  • Anything west of Albion road included
