Call out for Volunteers!

The GCRA Executive Council seeks qualified and enthusiastic candidates to play a role in the stewardship of our organization as we transition into the 2022-2023 season.

This is an opportunity for members to be involved with developing and implementing strategic objectives, strengthening our existing framework to ensure sustainability and build a strong future for our athletes.

The GCRA welcomes nominations from those who are looking to collectively strengthen the GCRA’s representation and is looking for individuals with skills in the following areas:

• Effective Communication

• Scheduling/Organization

• Inventory, Procurement and Ordering

• Event and organizational planning

• Proficient with programs such as Word/Excel

• Comfortable with technologies such as Google Docs, Zoom, and others

There are many critical positions that must be filled so that we can successfully run our upcoming seasons. If we are unable to fill these roles, GCRA runs the risk of not operating our 2022-23 season to the expectations of our valued members and governing bodies. We are looking for interested candidates to help lead the organization in the following roles:

• Members of the Executive Council: Ice Scheduler, Exec VP, Secretary, Director Accounting, FUNDamentals (Novice) Director, VP Development, Director at Large,

• Appointed Positions within our councils (Operations, Administration, Development):  Registrar, Equipment Manager, Tournament Manager(s), Webmaster, Convenors for FUN, Regional and Competitive
